I was born in India, moved to Hong Kong as a child, braved the winters of Philadelphia and New York in my early 20's, and most recently lived in San Francisco before settling down in Seattle. Needless to say, its been a rollercoaster ride! With each new place, I've discovered new cultures, lifestyles and people that have ultimately shaped my design style. As far back as I can remember, I've been interested in architecture and interior design. I created Design Sans Frontier as a way of researching and documenting fascinating craftsmanship and artistic traditions from across the globe and sharing my finds with friends, family and like-minded strangers. I believe that a well designed space can heavily influence how you feel, think and act and to that end, I hope to create a blog that offers inpiration and solutions for enhancing your living space.
